This is the inaugural conference for the nonprofit, HERo Music Inc. Presenters and performers from all over will be attending to celebrate women for a day and a half at Florida State University.
For a day and a half, HERo is hosting a conference at Florida State University to celebrate women in music. Guest pianist and Donne Ambassador from London, Antonio Oyarzabal, will be performing with the HERo Ensemble at Opperman Concert Hall on May 12 to open up the conference. The opening concert will include music by Caroline Shaw, Ethel Smyth, Libby Larsen, and the US premiere of the Madeleine Dring Festival Scherzo.

There will be a post concert talk after the opening concert on May 12th and 7:30. There will also be an immersive design walk through, Parallel Play, that attendees can experience art and music simultaneously.
