Heritage Trail Community Walk

The trail will be celebrated with a community walk led by Leon County Division of Tourism Staff and County Elected Officials on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, at 11 a.m. Participants will be treated to a walking tour beginning on the steps of the historic Walker Library (Bar 1903) with stops at the Knott House, The John. The Downtown Heritage Trail is part of the Tallahassee Heritage Trails project, an ongoing program with additional trails to be added focusing on a wide assortment of subjects including civil rights, music and more. The Heritage Trails are designed to promote exploration through mapped routes that engage residents and visitors to learn more about the area’s people, places and history.
