Through the centuries turtles in mythology have been associated with longevity, stability, patience and wisdom among many other noble attributes. In general, most cultures hold turtles of all types in high esteem.

The exhibit will feature 26 gallery artists who have been inspired to create pieces in various mediums that represent the theme "For the Love of Turtles". Come enjoy the works of art based on the unassuming "turtle" which has inspired the many myths of civilizations across the centuries.

Admission is free to attend the gallery and the event

We are raffling an original 36" x 36" Oil Painting by artist Cyndi Thau.

All proceeds from the raffle go to Friends of the Reserve - Turtle Patrol

Painting Raffle - $10 per ticket or 3 tickets for $25. Tickets available at River's Edge Gallery Apalachicola
