Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by the Frozen award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his son Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. April 7th @ 4pm YAT Sensory Friendly Performance:

Young Actors Theatre is proud to launch a Sensory Friendly performance of Finding Nemo Jr. on Friday, April 7 at 4:00pm that is designed to welcome individuals with sensory needs, including people on the autism spectrum, as well as first-time theatergoers and young children.

What does this mean?

The house lights will remain dimmed during the performance, rather than completely off
The intensity of lighting and sound effects will be reduced
A quiet area will be available in the front offices for children who need to take a break from the show
A study guide packet will be provided to audience members prior to the performance to assist with transitions.
There will be a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere where patrons can feel comfortable during the performance to enter or exit the theater with the assistance of our House Manager
