Evening of Dance

This year’s An Evening of Dance performances will feature four compelling works from Florida State University’s School of Dance Faculty. The works include a restaging of an excerpt of George Balanchine’s Serenade by Krafft Professor Suzanne Farrell; a restaging of Urban Bush Women’s Women’s Resistance choreographed by Professor Jawole Zollar and restaged by School of Dance Alum Bennalldra William; and two new works by Assistant Professor Tiffany Rhynard and Visiting Professor Kara Wilkes.The series will run November 4th and 5th on FSU’s campus at the Nancy Smith Fichter Dance Theatre in Montgomery Hall.  This concert features something for everyone with works ranging from classical ballet, contemporary ballet, and contemporary modern.  Tickets for An Evening of Dance performances are $20 for adults, $18 for senior citizens, $12 for children and non-FSU students and $10 for FSU students with ID.
