100 Watt Horse is the songwriting project of George Pettis, often featuring a rotating cast of his good buds. The band was founded in Atlanta, GA around 2012 or so and has moved around between Olympia, WA, Nashville, TN, and Limerick, Ireland since then. 100 Watt Horse is essentially a pop group, but there’s some folky stuff and maybe a little country and heck even some good old-fashioned rock and roll in there too. 100 Watt Horse’s second full-length, “Dog Is Goob” was released on April 3rd, 2020 via Sleeper Records.
