“THE LITTLE THINGS” WITH STEVEN S. WALKER
A ZOOM CLASS, THREE MORNINGS, 9 TO NOON, MONDAY, MARCH 29, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 31 AND FRIDAY, APRIL 2.
Take your paintings to completion through this three-day workshop with, artist/instructor, Steven S. Walker in this intimate ZOOM experience. Participants will learn techniques and those “little things” that will help take their paintings across the finish line. Students will work from photographs of their choice as reference.  Each student will receive individual attention catered to his or her skill level. Many of the basic elements of design such as color, composition and depth will be explored along with a discussion pertaining to observation. One focus during the workshop will be to gain a fundamental understanding of painting materials, techniques and studio practices to make your painting process easier and more successful.  This workshop is geared towards tweaking your current practice to suit your needs and skill level. Steven will do two demos and explain how you can adopt what you have observed in your own paintings.  Participants may contact Steven directly during the week via email with any questions or issues they have with their pieces.  Consider him as your “On-call artist help line” for the week. This workshop is open to all levels. $150 for nonmembers, $125 for members.
