The Hispanic Graduate Student Association (HiGSA) is proud to present Cinehassee, an Iberoamerican Film Festival that celebrates their people, artists, makers, and all related to these shared cultures and communities.
The V Cinehassee: Iberoamerican Film Festival will have a hybrid version this year. Some movies will be screened at the Askew Student Life Center, and some of the movies will be available online asynchronously for your viewing convenience, for one week, according to the schedule shown in the flyer. This year's theme is Indigenous Communities. There will be Q&A sessions (which will be synchronous) for you to immerse yourself in the cultures that will be seen in the various films. Our first Q&A session will take place online on Friday, Sept. 17th at 5pm. Leonardo Pakarati Quiróz, Director of the movie will be talking along with Dr. Loic, Assistant Professor of Global Medieval Art, and Ileana Olmos, Ph.D. Student in the Arts History Department.

The Student Life Cinema is located in the Askew Student Life Center at 942 Learning Way, in the southwest corner of the Florida State University campus. Parking is available on the east side of Woodward Ave, and in Parking Garage #2 near the Park Ave. Diner.
