The Hispanic Graduate Student Association (HIGSA)

The Hispanic Graduate Student Association (HIGSA) aims to promote Hispanic culture in FSU and the Tallahassee community and surroundings. As a family we also help graduate students at FSU to settle in the local community and we mentor them to succeed in academic life.

Some activities are:

• Hosting and accomodation for new students
• Cinehassee: Tallahassee Hispanic Film Festival with movie screenings and discussion panels
• Rides to Supermarkets
• Holiday celebrations
• Coffee hours with the Globe
