HiGSA, The Hispanic Graduate Student Association, invites you to its second edition of HiGSA Talks!: A series of talks about/by Latin America(ns). It will be held on Friday, March 30th from 4 to 8:30 PM at the Claude Pepper Center (FSU). Food and coffee will be provided, and a reception will follow.

This year we have three renowned keynote speakers:

Dr. Maria Morales - FSU, who works on gender and human rights issues in Latin America

Dr. Abby Cordova - University of Kentucky, who studies topics on political impacts on gender, inequality, and marginalization.

MS. Leandro Echt, International Consultant & Political Analyst, who focuses on promoting evidence-based decision making for public policy

HiGSA Talks presents a series of talks regarding Latin American issues, and research conducted by Latin students and scholars. It offers a safe inclusive interdisciplinary space where the FSU hispanic members or scholars doing research on Latin America can share their findings and/or experiences. HiGSA Talks is a solid opportunity to share ideas, and serves as a learning experience that develops our understating of the diverse global society we live and work in today. This is a unique event within FSU and its open to the public.
