Smash Mouth, Everclear & Spin Doctors

Presented by The Pavilion at The Centre of Tallahassee at The Pavilion at The Centre of Tallahassee

Smash Mouth formed in 1994 and their major label debut "Fush Yu Mang" goes more than DOUBLE PLATINUM featuring the huge hit “Walkin on the Sun” and sets the table for what most consider their masterpiece, the brilliant follow-up album "Astrolounge". No sophomore slump for these guys. Boasting three top-ten hits ("All-Star," "Then the Morning Comes," and "Can't Get Enough Of You Baby,") sales for "Astrolounge" are nearly double those for their debut.  Smash Mouth's third eponymous Interscope release features the ecstatic first single "Pacific Coast Party" and the smash hit "I'm a Believer".

Everclear released their 1997 multiplatinum smash So Much For The Afterglow, yet the album remains a beloved fan favorite, and continues to inspire new generations of musicians & fans today. Bolstered by the record’s enduring popularity, Everclear are about to embark on a highly anticipated tour celebrating its milestone anniversary, with plans to perform the album front to back, including some tracks the band has never played live. After the limited release of their independently released debut album, World of Noise, the band found success with their first three albums on Capitol RecordsSparkle and FadeSo Much for the Afterglow, and Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile,[1] which were all certified platinum in sales, with hits like, Heroin Girl, Santa Monica, Everything to Everyone, I will Buy You a New Life, Father of Mine, Wonderful, and AM Radio.

The Spin Doctors' debut studio album, Pocket Full of Kryptonite was released in August 1991. The band continued to play extensive live shows, gaining grassroots fans. In summer 1992, the band toured with the first lineup of the H.O.R.D.E. festival, sharing the stage with fellow jam bands Widespread Panic, Blues Traveler, and Phish. That summer, commercial popularity heated up, as radio and MTV began playing "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" and "Two Princes". The album went Gold in September 1992, and then received another boost in sales after the band's appearance on Saturday Night Live in October 1992.  January 7, 1993 The Spin Doctors graced the cover of the Rolling Stone magazine. By June 1993, the album went Triple Platinum.[5] Ultimately it sold over five million copies in the U.S.[6]and another five million overseas, and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
