Bob wishes to have each painting provide fresh insights to both himself and others.  He strives not to be overly consumed by a developed style or convention.  Creating and observing art has always been a passion and all work produced is in some way related to his personal experiences.
He grew up in the Tallahassee area and earned a bachelor’s degree in fine art at Florida State University and a master’s degree at Syracuse University.
He has received several awards including Best of Show, Art in Gadsden, and his artwork was selected for their promotional material in 2019, First Place, FSU Artist League, First Place, Senior Artist Showcase, Tallahassee Senior Center.
Bob has vast experience teaching art at major universities in the United States, including Florida State, the University of South Florida, Syracuse University, and the University of NY, as well as through the US agency for International Development in Nigeria. He also taught at the Senior Center in Tallahassee for several years and was President of their Art Council.  His artwork has been in area shows and galleries for years including the Gadsdens Art Museum, LeMoyne Art Gallery, Southern Exposer Art Gallery, and the    Tallahassee Senior Center Senior Artist Showcase.
He has held positions of Graphics Coordinator, Graphics Supervisor for Instructional Communications, Consultant, Educational Graphics Professor, and Media Consultant.
