Abstract and expressive, Terrie Corbett’s work comes to life through kiln fired glass, enamel glass on copper, and encaustic. She is a longtime member and frequent committee chair for the FSU Museum of Fine Arts Artists’ League. She has served on the Florida Committee for the National Museum of Women in the Arts, and as a board member for LeMoyne, 621 Gallery, and the Florida Artists Group. Corbett has taught as an artist in local schools and for VSA Florida. In addition to exhibiting widely, she has also curated local and regional exhibitions. Corbett’s work is part of many permanent collections including the Florida Department of State, House of Representatives, and the FSU Museum of Fine Arts, and she is represented locally by Signature Gallery.
