On display are quilt works from members of the Quilters Unlimited guild. Formed in 1981 for the purpose of promoting knowledge of, and interest in quilting and the art of quilt making, Quilters Unlimited offers learning, sharing, and enrichment opportunities to anyone who is interested. Quilters Unlimited is proud to be part of the convergence of cultures from all over the world that together have shaped the vibrant heritage of American quilts.

Join us in celebrating local art through the 2022 Quilters Unlimited exhibition. This juried show is highly anticipated by Tallahassee residents and artists alike, and is sure to amaze and delight all who visit. The quilt designs at times defy your imagination and run the gamut from tranquil to explosive. With works featuring playful animals, amazing geometric patterns, and vibrant colors, the range and diversity will be sure to inspire.

17 artists will show their work in this year’s Quilters Unlimited exhibit at the Tallahassee City Hall Art Gallery. Those artists are:

Connie Betterley, Margaret Boeth, Judith Boettcher, Kerry Cohen, Mary Z Cox, Ellen Fournier, Julie Fredrickson, Ann Gaber, Lyn Geariety, Dawn Griffin, Janet Hughes, Sue Isaac, Deborah Kelly, Linda Robbins, Linda Stright, Janet Taylor, and Marsha Walper.

These quilts will be on display in the Tallahassee City Hall Art Gallery from June 29 – September 5, 2022. All the submitted works can be viewed on COCA’s Online Gallery.
