Established in 1986, the Tallahassee Civic Chorale is a non-profit, non-audition community chorus consisting of approximately 40 to 50 singers, and organized in traditional choral SATB fashion.

We perform at least three major concerts annually in the Fall, Spring and Summer, in Turner Auditorium on the Tallahassee Community College campus. We also share our love of singing through performances at local events such as the Festival of Lights and Springtime Tallahassee. For each concert, the Chorale tailors a special program for local assisted living facilities, retirement centers and other groups unable to attend the concert.

Performances of the Tallahassee Civic Chorale are made possible in part by the generous donations of its concert patrons, program ads, corporate sponsorships, fund raisers, and grants provided by various civic organizations, the City of Tallahassee, the Council on Culture and the Arts (COCA), and by the support of Tallahassee Community College.

Proceeds from the Chorale’s performances help fund a music scholarship at Tallahassee Community College with the TCC Foundation generously matching the Chorale’s scholarship donation. The music scholarship is available for all TCC students who have sung with the Chorale during the previous semester. If you are interested in this scholarship, please contact the Chorale president president@civicchorale.org.
