Eluster Richardson: May I Have This Dance?

Eluster Richardson: May I Have This Dance?

Presented by Gadsden Arts Center & Museum at Gadsden Arts Center & Museum

The Art of Dance is an exhibition of sketches, watercolors and oil paintings by the award winning artist, Eluster Richardson. This exhibition will capture the essence of dance as an art form that enriches our lives, and Richardson’s paintings and drawings will illustrate the beauty and movement in the artist’s signature style. Capturing the emotions of people and transferring those emotions onto canvases has become Richardson’s specialty. "My challenge is to capture as many cultural dances as possible. Dancing is a means of celebration or showing happiness in many of our lives."

Also opening: Cassie Tucker: On the Other Side, Contemporary Cuban Art, Vivarium, & GAC Artists Guild. More information at http://www.gadsdenarts.org/exhibitions.aspx
