Literary night takes place every Thursday night at Black Dog on the Square. We highlight local and visiting authors from all genres.
Black Dog is exited to welcome two prominent local authors.
Trish MacEnulty, Ph.D. is the author of nine books, both fiction and nonfiction, some under the name "Pat" MacEnulty. She has written award-winning screenplays, television scripts, and plays and is the co-author of a metaphysical children’s novel. Topics of interest include history, women, recovery, caregiving, and social justice. She is an authority on writing as a tool for healing addictions and other traumas and delivers a variety of writing workshops.
Russ Franklin has degrees in math, physics, and literature, and was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Fiction at Stanford University, as well as a Kingsbury Fellow at Florida State University. His work has appeared in Oxford American, Alaska Quarterly Review, Greensboro Review and other publications. He currently teaches writing at Florida State University in Tallahassee. His Book Cosmic Hotel is being released May 10.
