Railroad Square is best known for the exciting and popular First Friday festival, which occurs on the first Friday of every month, providing a lively, enjoyable experience with open galleries/shops, live music, and a variety of food options. Tallahassee's most-attended and longest-running monthly festival, First Fridays at Railroad Square have even been recognized in publications by Forbes and the Huffington Post! Railroad Square is the place to go to support creative LOCAL businesses and experience a variety and uniqueness not found in any other single location in town...from vintage and antiques, to specialty stores, fine art, creative shops, a non-profit theater, an authentic pinball arcade, a gaming shop, a cult cinema, and a specialty kayak shop...there's truly something for everyone! Food and beverage options include Square Mug Cafe, Railroad Square Crafthouse, Oh! Lemondade, Halisi Africa, and the Crumbox Gastgarden, which is the only cafe in town built out of a real railroad caboose!  A variety of food trucks are at the event as well.  This staple Tallahassee event is now being organized and hosted by ACERS, the non-profit organization that provides Arts + Cultural Events at RRSQ.  Road closes at 6pm.  Masks recommended when inside crowded businesses.
