Newly re-formed Artists’ League to celebrate past, present and future at “Ritual Reconnection.” Come see the exhibition, participate in painting the totems and get information on how to join the group. Friday, July 30 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Tallahassee Community College generously sponsored, curated and juried the exhibition,“Ritual Reconnection”, set to open on Friday, July 30 at the TCC Fine Art Gallery from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The work represents a roster of former FSU MOFA members current in2020, invited by TCC. Prizes will be announced the night of the opening, as well as a collaborative painting activity, described below. The show will hang in the gallery until Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Practicing artists, art educators, art collectors and all who appreciate or make art are invited to join the newly re-formed Artists’ League of the Big Bend of Florida, Inc.Reorganized as a 501(c)(4) non-profit, the League reorganization represents a commitment made by members of the previous Artists’ League affiliated with the Florida State Museum of Art (FSUMOFA), an organization that operated for over three decades. Membership applications will be available at this exhibition. 7.26.21: Masks will be required due to current surge of COVID-19 cases locally.
