Literary Reading Salon & Open Mic Night

Literary Reading Salon & Open Mic Night

Presented by 621 Gallery at 621 Gallery

WRITERS, COMICS, AND MUSICIANS WELCOMED!
The 621 Literary Salon is a space for writers at every stage of their journey to gather, share, and connect. All are welcome to submit!
We aim to foster a community between students of FSU, FAMU, and TCC as well as the general population and encourage risk-taking and vulnerability. The Salon is hosted by 621 Gallery in Railroad Square on the third Thursday of every month at 7 pm. We are always looking for new authors and audience members to strengthen Tallahassee’s writing community.
Submissions are due the weekend before the Salon and range from short stories, songs, poems, chapters, and more. Any piece submitted is read and used only for the purposes of the 621 Salon and all rights to the pieces submitted are retained by the artist.
If you would like to read at this month's Lit Salon, please submit your work at: 621literarysalon@gmail.com or fill out this application. To participate in our Open Mic Night (Musicians and Comics) send us an email to sign up!
Doors Open at 6:30 pm, Reading starts at 7 pm, Open Mic starts at 8 pm. Free but donations encouraged.
