We are open for Paint-A-Pot to go and in-person in the ASLC on campus at FSU. Whether you choose to complete your piece at the Art Center or from home, you can work with either acrylic paint or glaze.
Glaze vs. Acrylic?The processing for each is slightly different but a main point to keep in mind is that glaze is food safe while acrylic paint is not. Whichever you choose, the process is super easy: Glaze - glazed pieces are food-safe once fired; purchase in person, bring your piece home, paint it, and bring it back in so we can add a clear coat and fire it. Acrylic - acrylic painted pieces are not food-safe; purchase in person, bring your piece home, paint it, and let air dry.
