For the month of June, our featured artist is Fine Arts Photographer and Artist, Maria Renzulli. Here is a short bio about Maria and her art:
"I grew up in the Historical Italian Market in South Philadelphia, PA. Thearchitecture and the museums of Philadelphia fueled my love of photography andthe arts. In the early 80’s, I started photographing using black and white film,which I developed and printed in my home-based lab. With the birth of mygrandchildren, I did freelancing for one of the local schools. My background as acomputer teacher helped ease me into digital photography. My photographs havebeen exhibited at the Jefferson Gallery ~Monticello, FL, FSU Museum of FineArts ~ Tallahassee, FL, Gadsden Arts Center and Museum and the GadsdenCounty Commissioners Office ~ both in Quincy, FL, and New Leaf Co-op ~Tallahassee, FL. I am currently a member of Wiregrass Gallery Co-op inThomasville, GA. As the Photo Historian for the American Legion Auxiliary inTallahassee, FL, and a member of The American Legion National Media Alliancemy photographs have been used in various Military Websites and publications.My background in photography and other art mediums spans over 50 years."
