Gadsden Arts is pleased to present the thirty-third year of our signature exhibition, Art in Gadsden. The 33rd Art in Gadsden regional exhibition of fine art presents 99 works by 88 artists, selected from 263 works entered. Aja Roache, Gallery Director, Foster-Tanner Fine Art Gallery at FAMU will select award-winning works of art, and share her thoughts about the work and exhibition. Exhibited works span the mediums of watercolor, pastel, acrylic, oil, photography, ceramics, wood, fiber, metal, wood, glass, and serigraph. Art in Gadsden runs July 9 through September 18, 2021, with galleries and the Fletcher Museum Shop open Wednesdays–Saturdays 10am–5pm, and guided tours available for any group by calling 850-627-5023. Families can call that number to enjoy free children’s activities in the ArtZone, or pickup free Art @ Home Kits during your visit to Gadsden Arts. An online award-winners’ talk and exhibition video tour will also be featured. Gadsden Arts admission is $5, free for members and children ages 17 and under.
