Tallahassee Genealogical Society Meeting

Tallahassee Genealogical Society Meeting

Presented by Tallahassee Genealogical Society at LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library

Have you ever visited the Family History Center here in Tallahassee?  Per their website, it "serves all those interested in researching their family history in the Tallahassee, Cairo, Crawfordville, Madison, Perry, Quincy, and Thomasville areas."  One of the volunteers at the Center (who is also a Society member) will explain what's available and why we should make time to visit and discover the Center's many resources.

The website FamilySearch.org  is a free resource for research. This ever evolving website offers a lot for family historians. The presentation will highlight several features of the website, some of which you may not be aware.

The meeting will be held in Program Room A of the downtown public library, 200 W. Park Ave. Sharing time is at 1:30pm and the meeting starts at 2pm.
