Gadsden Arts is excited to return to in-person summer camp this summer! Camp will feature small class sizes (10 in Woodell Studio and 8 and ArtZone studio), masks required, social distancing, and individual art kits foe each camper that they can keep following camp!
Camp 2021 will be 6 weeks, with 3 different themes: painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Each week will feature a range of projects for campers to express their creativity. Summer Art Camp is best for ages 6-12.
WEEKLY CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Week 1 – Painting Camp
June 21-25, 9am-12pm
Join us for a week of exciting painting projects ranging from watercolor wax-resist landscapes to experimental abstract paintings with unexpected materials!
Week 2 – Printmaking Camp
June 28-July 2, 9am-12pm
Experiment with a range of printmaking styles from creating your own stamps to crayon rubbings to multi-layered unique patterns.
Week 3 – Sculpture Camp
July 5-9, 9am-12pm
Experiment with 3-D art projects like clay pots, found object sculptures, hand-made beads, and papier maché! Please note, this week has an extra $10 supply fee for clay.
Week 4 – Painting Camp
July 12-16, 9am-12pm

Camp Fee: $65/$75 member/nonmember.
Additional $10 fee for sculpture week.
Deposits are due to reserve a spot ($35 per week).
