Making Light Productions is thrilled to announce our line-up of safe, super-fun performing arts summer camps for 2021 ... and this year we're offering morning movie-making camps and afternoon Broadway-style musicals throughout the summer!  Campers can choose to attend morning movie camps, afternoon musicals -- or sign up for both!
We're committed to keeping everyone just as safe as we have since we re-opened last July, and our rigorous health and safety protocols include temperature checks at the door, mandatory mask-wearing, HEPA air filters installed in every room and regular, thorough cleaning of all spaces.  To read more about our Health and Safety procedures, CLICK HERE.
For everyone's safety all camps are limited to a maximum of 18 campers, divided into age groups (8-9 and 10+), and campers bring their own snacks and water bottles (no shared food). Camps will fill up, so register today to secure your spot!

MORNING MOVIE-MAKING CAMPS
Our morning sessions take place between 8:45 AM - 12:30 PM and are focused on the art of making a real movie. For ages 8 and up, our morning movie camps focus on acting fundamentals, as well as the specifics of acting for camera, and an introduction to the technical side of film making, including using the camera, video and sound editing, green screen work and other special effects. Throughout the camp session, the cast rehearses, films and produces a real movie version of these funny plays:

June 21 - July 2 (Two weeks) THE ENTIRE AMERICAN REVOLUTION IN 40 MINUTES OR LESS 
July 12 - July 30 (Three Weeks) SHAKESPEARE'S BACHELORETTE
August 2 - August 6 (One week) - ACT NOW!  WRITE AND FILM YOUR OWN SCRIPTS!

AFTERNOON MUSICAL THEATRE
For ages 8-9 and 10+, our afternoon musical theatre camps take place between 12:30 - 5:30 PM.   Campers learn the fundamentals of voice, dance, and acting as they rehearse a real Broadway-style musical for performance in the Making Light theatre!
