Presented by Arts and Cultural Experiences at Railroad Square at Online/Virtual Space

In honor of Black History Month, February’s Virtual First Friday will feature 4 local African American artists/creators whose work represents a broad spectrum of creative mediums.  This 10-minute feature provides an interesting and convenient dose of insight into the minds and works of some of Tallahassee’s local creatives. Host: Josh Johnson, Board of Directors of 621 Gallery, Professor, and Consultant Featuring: (1) Leon Hicks (aka “Uncle Junior”): Master Engraver/Printmaker, Professor of African American Art at FAMU; (2) Dana Broer, herbalist, creative entreprenuer and owner of Knotz & Mane; (3) Brandon Adlam, Photographer and owner of GuyXPhoto; and (4) “Missionary” Mary Proctor, nationally known folk artist. Check out the Virtual First Friday Production at 8pm this Friday evening on Facebook @ACERS Tallahassee. If you miss it, watch the video anytime on Facebook @ACERS Tallahassee.
