Spend a beautiful October day with 11 brilliant artisans selling their wares in the garden at LeMoyne.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24th, 10am – 5pm. Being staged entirely outside in the open air, the Faire will welcome shoppers to artisan booths set up throughout the beautiful Helen Lind Garden. Customers will be able to browse and find exquisite hand-crafted items among offerings in glass, wood, ceramics, fabrics and jewelry. The brilliant group of artisans includes Robin Rogers (ceramics), Quincie Hamby (jewelry), the North Florida Goldsmiths, Starr Payne, Deon Lewis (fiber artist), Kathryn Stivers (glass), Nancy Jefferson (ceramics), and several others. Masks are required, and there'll be plenty of room for social distancing. The Faire is free and opens to the public at 10:00 AM – but a very limited number of “Early Bird” tickets are available for $10, giving folks special access from 9:00AM-10:00AM. “This has been such a hard year for everyone”, said LeMoyne Executive Director, Lori Carlson. “With so many events being cancelled, it’s been especially tough for many artists, jewelers and fine crafters who are usually busy selling their works at the many local shows and gatherings.” She continued, “with COVID still influencing all our lives, we’re hoping to give them a great showing, AND provide a refreshing day out for folks in the community. This is another way in which LeMoyne brings artists and the public together, creating community through art.” Artist Nancy Jefferson added, “LeMoyne is truly all about art and the artists.”
