Weekly in-person ceramics classes open to the public, held in FSU’s Oglesby Union Art Center. *Masks required!*
FSU's Oglesby Union Art Center will be continuing this semester with three more sections of beginning wheel classes. These 6-week sessions will run from October 12th to November 2oth and occur once a week. All of our classes are open to the public. Due to capacity limitations for social distancing, we will only have 6 people to a class, so sign up quickly!
An instructor will teach you how to use a wheel to create a variety of ceramic forms while also covering glazing techniques. Students typically finish these courses with a number of final pieces. Clay is sold separately but access to studio tools will be provided. Out-of-class studio access is included with the cost of the course but may be purchased separately as well.
Face masks are required!
These aren't drop in classes, you must register beforehand here.
The cost of the 6 week course covers the cost of the instructor and out-of-class access to the studio but clay is sold separately.
