The Florida State University College of Music would like to invite you to share a special vocal recital featuring faculty members Marcy Stonikas (soprano) and Valerie M. Trujillo (piano), presented in partnership with the Seattle Opera.
 
Assistant Professor of Voice at the Florida State University College of Music since 2018, Marcy Stonikas's relationship with the Seattle Opera stage began in 2009 as a member of the young Artists Program. She made her Seattle Opera main stage debut in The Magic Flute (’11) and has gone on to sing the title role in Turandot and Fidelio ('12), Ariadne auf Naxos (’15), Tosca (’15) and The Turn of the Screw (2018).
 
Available on the Seattle Opera website starting October 9 at 7:00 p.m., this dynamic performance, recorded in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall at the Florida State University College of Music, will include selections from:
 
Wagner – “Senta’s Ballad” from The Flying Dutchman
Bellini – “Casta Diva” from Norma
Puccini – “Vissi d’Arte” from Tosca
Gershwin – “Vodka” from Song of the Flame
