A fun, FREE family-friendly outdoor production of one of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays comes to life under the oak canopy at Thomasville Center for the Arts, featuring the actors of Southern Shakespeare Company.
Offered as a free Shakespeare in the Park event, this 11 a.m. performance will feature Tallahassee-based Southern Shakespeare Company in a one-hour abridgment of the fanciful story, complete with mischievous fairies, star-crossed lovers, and comic hijinks set in an enchanted forest, in this case, under Thomasville Center for the Arts' oak canopy. A cast of 12 professional actors takes on the roles of Puck, Fairy King Oberon, Fairy Queen Titania, Lysander, Hermia, Helena, Demetrius, and more. Attendees are encouraged to mask up and bring lawn chairs and blankets.
NOTE: TEF will implement Georgia's health guidelines at the time of each event. These include audience capacity limits, social distancing, and other precautions; Facial coverings are strongly encouraged. Your patience and cooperation are appreciated.
