In this live and live-streamed event, Native American songwriter and storyteller Bill Miller will share his craft and present work done with FSU professor Sarah Eyerly on Mohican-Moravian hymns.
Bill Miller is an award-winning Native American recording artist, performer, songwriter, activist, painter, and world-class native flute player. Over the entirety of his career, Miller has produced over a dozen albums, received three GRAMMY® Awards, numerous Native American Music Awards & Association (NAMA) awards (including a “Lifetime Achievement” Award) and led Wisconsin’s La Crosse Symphony Orchestra. He is now touring in support of the history-making album release, Look Again To The Wind, on which he performed the title track.
In this live and livestreamed event, Bill Miller will share some of his original songs, as well as present recent work done with FSU professor Sarah Eyerly on Mohican - Moravian hymns.
El Criollo Grill will be serving dinner on site at 6pm.
This event is in person at the Northside Community Center - masks required and socially distanced seating provided.
