Weekly ceramics classes open to the public, held in FSU’s Oglesby Union Art Center.
FSU's Oglesby Union Art Center will be starting this semester off with three sections of beginning wheel classes. These 6-week sessions will run from August 31st to October 11th and occur once a week. All of our classes are open to the public. Due to capacity limitations, we will only have 6 people to a class, so sign up quickly!
An instructor will teach you how to use a wheel to create a variety of ceramic forms while also covering glazing techniques. Students typically finish these courses with a number of final pieces. Clay is sold separately but access to studio tools will be provided.
Out-of-class studio access is included with the cost of the course but may be purchased separately as well.
These aren't drop in classes, you must register beforehand here.

All sessions will be covering the same topics and all sessions occur once a week for 6 weeks total. If none of the times work with your schedule, you can still purchase studio access for the cost of a class.
