This month we feature a selection of drawings by artist Marina Brown which capture everyday experiences of passengers at Tallahassee International Airport. These images, created during Brown’s stint as the airport’s artist in residence, vividly capture the eager anticipation, frustrations and anxieties of airport arrivals and departures. Ms. Brown makes the art-making process a daily interaction in the public environment. The artist’s book “Airport Sketches” is a wonderful display of drawings with narrative text.
