Join our brand new virtual book club! Southern Shakespeare Company is proud to present our Community Read-Along series starting with King Lear, a piece of work Shakespeare wrote while under his own quarantine, the Black Plague!
These activities are developed by Southern Shakespeare Company as part of a social media “Community Read-Along” series designed to engage the community in a fashion similar to that of an online book club. Each week 3-4 scenes are “assigned” and SSC’s Facebook Page and Website facilitate a dialogue around the text – providing thought points, discussion questions, and activities for theatre students.
