From January 14 to 19, 2020, the 35th edition of the International Jazz Plaza Festival was held in Havana, featuring numerous jazz players from diverse countries such as Italy, Norway, Spain, Puerto Rico, Germany, Chile, United States, Sweden, Mexico and Venezuela, among others. The Common 'Taters Southern Funk Band played at four different venues, including the Fabrica de Arte (Art Factory). The group included Common 'Taters Mike Lewis & Jan DeCosmo; Disciples of Music members Israel Campbell, Kirk Gavin, Jordan Green, Sam Johnson & Aaron Watson; Lyrical Lynn with her husband Andre Forbes and her twin Ilismo Johnson; Joel Johnson; and Baba Olusegun “Segun” Williams.

The Common 'Taters Southern Funk Band will present a reprise of this performance and everyone is welcome to attend.

$12 general admission tickets on Eventbrite; $15 at door. Doors open at 7:00pm, show starts at 7:30pm and ends around 9:30pm.
