CURRENTLY CLOSED - Voices of FAMU Fine Arts Program: A Collection of Six Decades of Art

Presented by Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery at FAMU Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery

The Florida A&M University Foster Tanner Fine Arts Gallery is pleased to present Voices of FAMU Art Program: A Collection of Six Decades of Art from February 27 to April 4, 2020. This exhibition will feature works of art by FAMU Fine Arts alumni spanning the decades of 1960 until the present. FAMU Fine Arts alumnus and Associate Professor of Art, Harris Wiltsher curated this inaugural exhibition as an accompanying event for the celebration of the FAMU College of Social Sciences Arts and Humanities Reunion taking place this April.

Wiltsher affirms, “It is important to me as a FAMU graduate to highlight the artists that have matriculated through the Fine Arts department and also to bring light to this program, the importance of arts to the university, community, and our culture.”

Voices of FAMU: A Collection of Six Decades of Art will be on view from February 27 - April 4, 2020, at the Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery.

Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m to 5 p.m and Saturday 12 p.m to 4 p.m. Metered parking is available on Wahnish Way between Osceola and Gamble St. This exhibition is free and open to the public.
