Join Gadsden Arts staff for a presentation at 11am on Southern Vernacular Art and recent acquisitions by African American artists on view in the Bates Permanent Collection Gallery starting in February, including Mose Tolliver, Jimmy Lee Sudduth, and Purvis Young.
Families can also make art projects and read books inspired by artist Jacob Lawrence in the ArtZone, every Friday & Saturday, 10am-5pm.
