Joyce Estes is a accomplished silk painter. There are many techniques that lend it self to fun and exciting creations. Joyce will conduct a ECO silk workshop that uses plant materials to print a beautiful scarf.
This Eco Class will be one day to introduce you to Eco Printing. Eco Printing is a process of using plants to dye and print on fiber through contact printing methods.
During our workshop we will explore the alchemy of water, plant materials and natural chemicals and finish the class with beautiful prints on silk.
With the introduction of ECO printing, many may want to come for a longer class to explore more options with other cloth fibers.
