This eight-week course will cover the foundations of painting with watercolor. It will include lessons on getting to know your supplies (mixing paint, color theory, paper weight and texture, etc.) and demonstrations on traditional and experimental watercolor techniques. Students will work on their own projects from photograph or life with individual help given as needed. Watercolor paintings from historical and contemporary artists will be shared throughout the course for inspiration. This course is designed for beginner or intermediate painters.
