Infinity Con is coming back to the Donald L Tucker Civic Center for 2 days of fun! You will find artists and creators of major and independent comic books, video & tabletop gaming, anime, vendors, Kid’s Con area, and entertainment for all ages.
This year, look for an expanded Kid’s Con area complete with Kid’s Cosplay Contest, Fortnight Dance Party, and Superhero Snack time, story time with Dadpool, plus other activities like creating your own comic strip with Tallahassee cartoonist Nathan Archer. The Lego building organization, Bricks 4 Kidz, and the Challenger Learning Center will be partnering with the Kid’s Con area for demos and classes.
We’re pleased to have Fabian Nicieza, the co-creator of Deadpool, as one of our Featured Creators. Fabian will be hosting panels on both days and signing autographs. Mark Bagley, Marvel Comics artist and illustrator, will also be joining the Featured Creators group. Mark was the main artist for Spider-Man and Carnage in the late 90s – early 2000s, and is still working on several comic titles. Another well-known artist and illustrator, Scott Hanna, will also be highlighted as a Featured Creator. Mark has inked many comics for both Marvel and DC. Other Featured Creators include locals Michael Shelfer, comic artist and illustrator, and Christopher Burdett, monster creator and artist.
Featured Creators returning this year are makeup & movie FX artist Jeh Howell, and award-winning cosplayers Fred and Elle Designs. Jeh will be hosting our most popular panel on makeup effects, and Fred and Elle will be judging the Cosplay Contest on Sunday. Also returning is indie comic publisher Martin Pierro. Hoyt Silva, an indie comic creator out of Atlanta, GA, returns this year, as well.
Join us before the doors open for the Opening Ceremonies hosted by Chimichanga Talk for giveaways, games, and fun. Another new feature this year is the Art Gallery that will display entries from this year’s art contest. Entries for the art contest will be accepted until all spaces are filled. The GameZone Mobile Gaming Theater will be back this year sponsoring our video game area. And we will be adding an extra space for video game and table top tournaments. Including a Warhammer 40K tournament. More details TBA.
Pre-Sale tickets are on sale now at infinityconfl.com. Weekend pre-sale tickets are $20, one-day pre-sale tickets are $12. Kids pre-sale tickets (ages 6 – 11) for the weekend are $8. VIP tickets are pre-sale only at $65. Prices at the door are $24 for weekend, $14 for one-day, and $10 for kids ages 6 – 11. Kids 5 & and under are free. Civic Center Parking is $10 Cash
