ACTU Book Club: Montgomery discussing 'Salvage the Bones'

Dr. Maxine L. Montgomery is a professor of English at Florida State University, where she has been a faculty member since 1988. Montgomery specializes in Africana women’s studies, cultural studies, gender studies, the novel and American multi-ethnic literature.  Her forthcoming University Press of Mississippi book is entitled Meditations on Race, Culture, and History: New Critical Essays on Toni Morrison’s God Help the Child. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, both in English, from FSU. Montgomery earned her doctorate in English from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
