This concert of choral music celebrating many cultural joys of the season; reminds us that it 'Tis the season for joy, light, family, rebirth... and great choral music! The chorale's annual seasonal concert explores all the joys the season brings and the holidays we share together. The concert will run the gamut from traditional Carols and songs like Silent Night arranged by one our favorites, Dan Forrest, a rousing Deck the Halls in a challenging arrangement put together for the group ‘Pentatonix’, to an arrangement by the popular Mark Hayes of Away in a Manger including both the tunes, MUELLER and CRADLE SONG. And what Holiday Program would be complete without some music with flair, from a slightly swinging Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) arranged by Lisa DeSpain to the lushly harmonized Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Martin and Blane.

The men of the chorus have been asked to stretch themselves this year by bringing a classic text by Robert Frost put to music by Randall Thompson called: Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening; if this sounds familiar, it is, probably from High School English class! Another challenging song by Pinkzebra called Winter Dreams calls forth a tapestry of sounds with voice parts singing out of their usual positions in the choral structure, making for a different and wonderful sound.
