Dr. David Evans is a world-class player and a first-rate scholar of the blues. He has made a regular stop in Tallahassee for the past several years, playing and sharing stories of his 50+ years experience at such venues as the Bradfordville Blues Club and the Warehouse. This year, he will be performing at Blue Tavern with his country blues pals Belmont & Jones.

Dr. Evans can play the old blues like the old masters, with a complete mastery of all kinds of blues tunings, picking styles, slide and regional styles and a vast encyclopedic song repertoire.
