Join resident potter Nancy Jefferson to make ceramic ornaments for the holidays!
Move beyond cookie cutter shapes and make a set of unique ceramic ornaments! Potter-in-residence Nancy Jefferson will teach you two styles of ornaments: a round ball and unique stencils designed by her. Once you've formed your ornaments using hand building techniques, you will use underglaze for the surface decoration. You will come away with a set of four to six ornaments, two or three in each style!
Ceramics require a two-part firing process. You will use underglaze to decorate your piece at this one-day workshop; then, we will finish it for you with a clear glaze on top. You will be able to pick up your finished ornaments on December 18.
Registration is available now via our website, by phone, or in person at LeMoyne Arts. We ask you register prior to the class as spots are limited.
