Join artist Leslie Cohen in creating expressive faces with quilting techniques!
This workshop, taught by Leslie Cohen, one of the artists featured in the juried show "Perspectives" at LeMoyne Arts, will introduce you to art quilting or help you further your skills. Following the theme of perspectives, your eyes reveal what you feel or see. For instance, eyes wide open show shock; eyes closed tightly show displeasure.
By using raw edge piecing of fabrics, the teacher will demonstrate how to turn an emotional face into a small art quilt. Find an expressive face online or take a selfie and we will SEE you on October 26th at Lemoyne Arts. This quilting project can either be done with a sewing machine or by hand sewing; please bring a machine if you have one.
All supplies included; however, if you have them, feel free to bring any fabrics from your stash that you would like to use!
Registration is available now via our website, by phone, or in person at LeMoyne Arts. We ask you register prior to the class as spots are limited.
