Fanny's Follies

Fanny's Follies

Presented by Goodwood Museum & Gardens at Goodwood Museum and Gardens

Join Goodwood for Clandestine Cocktails in Defiance of the 18th Amendment!

On November 15th wear your finest speakeasy attire, enjoy once unlawful libations and dance the night away at Fanny's Follies  with a 7-piece Jazz Swing Band filled with internationally regarded A-list players.

With vocals by Tallahassee's homegrown wildflower, Colleen Nixon and modern renaissance woman and jewel, Avis Berry, these two unique and stand alone artists will have harmonies and renditions of your favorite Jazz standards that will invite you into their musical moment and have you wishing the night would never end.  Backing up Avis’ warm, soulful sound and Colleen’s clear, angelic tone, is a rhythm section with names you will recognize from the FSU & FAMU Music Faculty. Featuring Bill Peterson on keys, Brian Hall on upright bass, Michael Bakan on drums, David Detweiler on saxophone and Scotty Barnhart, Director of The Legendary Count Basie Orchestra, on trumpet. Get your tickets today and experience the timeless, fun and spontaneous music of our country with a once unlawful libation in hand.

Heavy hors d'oeuvres from our chef sponsors, bathtub gin, specialty cocktails and saucy sinful secrets are just a password away... Shhhhh!

VIPs (Very Important Partiers) will enjoy a pre-party in the Main House beginning at 6 PM before the Carriage House Speakeasy opens at 7 PM and sneak over to the hidden VIP back-room bar while the party unfolds.
