In honor of National Caregiver’s Month, join AARP Florida & JVision Pictures for a special screening of the film My Music by filmmaker Kenneth Jones.
Reviewed by the Sedona International Film Festival as “An upbeat film with a great story”, My Music is about a teenage girl, Ruth, the caregiver for her Aunt Inez, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. The movie portrays the miracle of music as a dramatic transforming journey for Ruth and her daunting task of being a caregiver. There will be a Q&A session with the filmmaker following the screening.
The TMH Memory Disorder Clinic, Covenant Care and the Alzheimer’s Project will also be at the screening to share caregiver supports and resources.
