Archives After Dark: Extended Hours and Presentation

Archives After Dark: Extended Hours and Presentation

Presented by State Archives of Florida at State Archives of Florida

October is American Archives Month, and all month long the State Archives is celebrating our spooky theme, Tales From the Archives, with events that bring to light our darker side.

On October 8, Crypt Keepers (also known as archivists and librarians) will be available to answer research questions, pull archival materials, and direct you to the presentation titled "Terror of the Archives: Preservation Issues." In this special, behind-the-scenes presentation, Archivist Matthew Storey will use records from our collections to demonstrate the preservation horrors that archivists encounter and how to address them. The presentation will take place twice: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and 6:45 to 7:45 p.m.
