An opening reception for FAMU’s Graduating Fine Arts Student Exhibition.
Every semester, the Florida A&M University Visual Art Program and the Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery highlights the achievements of our graduating seniors with an exhibition of their curated works of art. This year, we celebrate two Fine Arts seniors, Eneicia "Nina" Benitez and Allika Williams. The opening reception serves as an opportunity for the students to share their art with the public, and for visitors to hear about these young, emerging artists with a reception and artist talk.
Selected artwork from students in the spring 2016, Advanced Workshop: Art in a Seriesclass will also debut their recent work in the gallery.
Fun, exhibition-themed refreshments will be served, and interactive activities will be presented for all to enjoy.
The opening reception is free and open to the public.*
The FAMU Graduating Senior Art Exhibition will be on view from April 18 - May, 2016.
The opening reception is Friday, April 22 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
